Using the PARA method with Notion

Hey Reader,

I get a lot of questions about the PARA method and how it works with Notion, most notably:

  • Is there a Notion PARA template / quick setup?
  • Does Notion Mastery teach PARA?

Well, Tiago Forte recently released his new book, The Para Method, and I figured it would be timely to share how we interpret PARA for a Notion context.

PARA is a tool-agnostic system for organizing all the information in your life; it stands for Projects, Areas, Resources, and Archives.

My recommendation?
You'll get the most out of it if you don't take it too literally.

Notion's linked databases mean that data doesn't need to live in one place. Relating data makes it more useful and powerful.
